This hotel is located in the center of Tunisia and is an old hotel. As soon as I entered the hotel, I saw the big boss of the hotel supervising the work at the front desk. The boss also walked back and forth and helped with the management of the hotel. This was very impressive. The boss is polite and warm. I booked a suite this time and it was very clean and comfortable. The most unique thing is that there is a stool in the bathtub. This is specially arranged for the elderly or travelers with limited mobility. This is very thoughtful and deserves praise. It was very peaceful to sleep at night. The suite has a balcony with city views. The room includes meals, and the food is local specialties and delicious. I will stay at this hotel next time I go to Tunisia.

Perfect hotel for our needs. Good clean room very helpful staff. Highly recommended for those wanting to get away from the tourist traps. Breakfast was great and lots of places to eat near buy. Handy to get to from the airport and also visit Carthage.

I went to the Hotel Le Consul to participate in an exhibition-sale that was supposed to take place there but which ultimately did not take place at this address and it's a real shame because the hotel is very well located centrally and close to the Avenue de la Liberté which serves the whole capital but the rooms are very comfortable and quite well equipped the only problem with this establishment is the accessibility and the coating of the latter because the handrails are almost absent and the granite floor outside is slippery which makes access to the hotel difficult for the elderly and disabled people (we build and renovate but without taking into account a part of the population) Apart from that the staff is attentive to the wishes of the customers and another weak point of the hotel is the parking, you will tell me there is an underground one I confirm but for a taxi it is difficult to park because there is the pound which turns If the management of the hotel corrects the weak points it will be perfect so it is This is why the organizer of the exhibition-sale has changed the location of the event
